María Victoria is an experienced communications professional with a solid background in diverse
industries such as pharmaceuticals, retail, and consumer products. Her expertise includes strategic
communications, change management, internal & external communications, reputation
management, employee relations, recruitment, leadership coaching, content development, and
technical writing/translation.
She began her career in public relations agencies Burson-Marsteller and Hill & Knowlton managing
accounts for clients such as American Airlines, Puerto Rico Tourism Company, Ford, KFC, and
Colgate-Palmolive. She then moved to the biopharmaceutical industry working for Amgen, and
more recently, directing site and regional communications for Novartis and GSK.
María Victoria has Master studies in Public Relations from the University of Sacred Heart and a
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus.
